There was almost a divide between my fine art work and my client work. It was like there was a passion in the fine art, a passion that I was fully ready to share! However, my two bodies of work were at a disconnect.
I wanted my work to connect with the public. I wanted to touch those around me and create work that would reflect feelings, thoughts, and actions that the “average Joe” could relate to.
Unfortunately, in a gallery scene this is not what you receive. Very few people pick up a fine art magazine, even fewer enter the bounds of an art gallery, and only a small percentage are in the images themselves.
This is not the photographer I wanted to be. I made the shift as an artist… and Erica Danile Photography was born!
I focus on connecting with all clients, no matter their age, to tell their story.
